Now in its third season and going strong, we decided that we give ourselves a break and go to the Dixie Stampede Christmas with our entire family, as a mother of 65, Diane was Birthday. A few minutes from all the main attractions are just minutes from US192 and International Drive and extremely easy to find with the directions that staff, if you book your ring. A Nativity scene is lowered from the ceiling and the story told to all around. It really gives you a sense of warmth when you hear the Story of how Jesus was born. The show even involves young children from the audience to take part in a chicken run, and they love it. The entertainment never stops. Ostrich race, Cowboys and Indians, Reds and Blues, they even through in a little romance. I never knew horse riding could be so exciting. This is certainly one of the best family shows we have seen in Orlando in all the years we have been visiting, this was our second visit to the Dixie Stampede and was more special than the first.
